The Ignite Research Showcase provides attendees an opportunity to hear from and engage in discussion with research-practitioners in the profession and learn how they can translate research findings into their professional practice.
Researcher-practitioners are invited to submit new and in-progress research and will have 10 minutes to share about their work, methodology, and key findings (when applicable). A moderator will guide discussion to help attendees identify ways in which they can apply research to their practice.
Submit an Ignite Research Showcase Session
The Call for Research for Ignite Research Showcase Sessions is now open! The deadline for proposal submissions is Friday, May 22 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
Instructions for Submitting a Proposal
Members and Non-members can follow the steps below to find and submit a program proposal:
- Login to FSCentral (Non-members can create a free FSCentral account).
- From the FSCentral home page, select the “AFA Home” tile.
- From the AFA home page, select the “AFA Submissions” tile.
- You will then be taken to our AFA Submissions portal, where you will see the 2026 Call for Programs proposal form.
- Be sure to select the “Ignite Research Showcase” program format when completing your submission form.
