If I am a nomination coordinator, how early should I reach out to individuals to write a potential letter of support?

Nomination coordinators are highly encouraged to reach out early to those who may be able to write a letter of support for an award nomination. Like letters of recommendation, letters of support can take time to write in an effective and meaningful manner. Additionally, writers may need to seek out supporting information and/or data to strengthen the effectiveness of their letter.
