Explore how campus professionals can better support Jewish students within fraternity and sorority communities. Through case studies, creative simulations, and collaborative problem-solving, attendees will develop tangible strategies to foster inclusion and belonging across campus.
As a result of attending this program, attendees will…
- Attendees will leave with a set of tools, campus partnerships, and ideas to proactively support Jewish students and strengthen inclusion within their community
- Attendees will have a better understanding of the needs of the Jewish students on their campus, including identity, holidays, dietary constraints, and the effects of events in the Middle East on students’ needs
Continuing Education
Certified Student Affairs Educators (CSAEd) may obtain CE credits for attending this program. This program is eligible for Core, Social Justice and Inclusion (SJI), or Fraternity Sorority Life specialty (FSL) credit [1 credit]. AFA has been approved by the Higher Education Consortium for Student Affairs Certification to provide CE credit for Certified Student Affairs Educators (CSAEd). Programs that qualify for CE credit in this program will be clearly identified. AFA is solely responsible for all aspects of this program.
