In this session, a former supervisor-supervisee pair shares the real talk on cultivating a relationship that goes beyond task management and check-ins. Through candid reflection and practical strategies, you’ll leave with tools to maximize your supervision relationships to win in your career growth.
As a result of attending this program, attendees will…
- Learn and apply development-focused frameworks to enhance their conversations and drive their career journey with a supervisor or direct report.
- Recognize and understand the components of a high-impact supervision relationship and assess the effectiveness of their own dynamics.
- Identify specific strategies to build and sustain trusting relationships that foster a culture of feedback, vulnerability, and mutual accountability to proactively own their career development.
Continuing Education
Certified Student Affairs Educators (CSAEd) may obtain CE credits for attending this program. This program is eligible for Core or Fraternity Sorority Life specialty (FSL) credit [1 credit]. AFA has been approved by the Higher Education Consortium for Student Affairs Certification to provide CE credit for Certified Student Affairs Educators (CSAEd).
