The period between Commencement and the start of the fall semester is one of the most critical—and often underutilized—planning windows for student affairs leaders. During this time, decisions about staffing, structure, and alignment can determine whether teams enter the year prepared or playing catch-up. Yet many leaders rely on reactive hiring or inherited role design rather than intentional talent strategy. This session offers a practical framework to help leaders use the summer season to design stronger, more aligned teams for the year ahead.
