Longtime AFA partner and AFA Foundation donor Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority has committed to ‘elevating the standard’ through a $50,000 gift commitment to the AFA Foundation designed to provide direct support for the AFA Annual Meeting opening keynote address.
“Alpha Sigma Tau is committed to serving the fraternity and sorority profession and each individual who serves our members, our chapters, and the communities on our campuses,” said Jamie Jones Miller, national president of Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority. “We are proud to provide a $50,000 gift to support the opening educational session for the next four AFA Annual Meetings with programming designed to directly address the current higher education landscape and complex challenges our members and professionals face every day. We can’t think of a better way to invest in the people who invest in our members than this commitment to AFA.”
This commitment will bring content to AFA Annual Meeting attendees that directly addresses the current climate of challenges for both fraternity/sorority members and professionals, and ensures our Annual Meeting programming focuses on the core functions of fraternity/sorority work. This includes programming that focuses on, but is not limited to, belonging, connection, and organizational growth; mental and emotional well-being; advising and coaching; human resources and talent development; prevention and intervention; and member development.
Please join us in celebrating Alpha Sigma Tau’s investment in the fraternity and sorority profession and their commitment to elevating the standard.
