Annual Meeting “In-Conjunction with Event” Registration

Fraternities/sororities, college/universities, or other organizations may choose to submit a request for space to host meetings, receptions, breakfasts, or other special programs during the 2023 AFA Annual Meeting. In order to be eligible to host such an event, one must be registered for the 2023 Annual Meeting. 

Reservations for In Conjunction With (ICW) events closed on Sunday, October 22. No late reservations will be accepted. 

Registration costs for an ICW are as follows:

  • $225 for up to 4 hours without A/V 
  • $350 for up to 8 hours without A/V
  • $300 for up to 4 hours with A/V (includes projector and screen) 
  • $350 for up to 4 hours with A/V (includes projector, screen, and amplified sound) 
  • $500 for up to 8 hours with A/V (includes projector and screen)
  • $550 for up to 8 hours with A/V (includes projector, screen, and amplified sound)

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 30 days or more in advance of the event will result in a refund of all but a $50 processing fee. Cancellations made less than 30 days but more than 10 business days in advance will result in a refund of 50%. Cancellations made less than 10 business days in advance of the event are non-refundable.

Placement Timeline

The AFA Central Office will contact you within two weeks of your request to verify your specific date and time before a final confirmation is sent. Final confirmation will not be sent until payment is received. In the event we are unable to accommodate your request, you will receive a refund. 

Food and Beverage Policy

If you would like to have refreshments at your ICW, you must go through the Tampa JW Marriott or the Tampa Marriott Water Street (based on the hotel your function is placed at) . No outside food or beverage will be allowed.
