The AFA Foundation announces ‘Elevate the Standard’, our campaign committed to raising $1.75 Million to advance our shared profession in celebration of AFA’s 50th Anniversary.

For 48 years, AFA has continued to deliver on our vision of being the premier community of professional practice for those committed to enhancing the fraternity/sorority experience. As AFA reaches its milestone 50th anniversary in 2026, it must answer the questions critical to the sustainability of our work: What will AFA need in order to continue to grow into its next 50 years? What are the roadblocks we will need to push through? What are the curveballs that will be thrown our way that we will need to be prepared for? And most importantly, what is the professional need we will be called upon to meet? The AFA Foundation is helping AFA to answer that call.
On December 5th, at the Association’s Annual Meeting in Indianapolis, IN, the AFA Foundation proudly announced their effort to resource our shared work into the next 50 years of AFA through our campaign ‘Elevate the Standard: The Campaign for AFA’s Future’. ‘Elevate the Standard’, pulled directly from AFA’s mission, reflects our call to action. It reflects a new evolution in our Association, and a new resolve to transform the ways in which we build capacity in the people who do this work. It is a testament to the importance of professional development and professional community.
Our goal is bold:
$1.75 Million in support for professional development that helps us to stay on the cutting edge of a rapidly diversifying fraternity and sorority experience.
$1.75 Million that will challenge us to elevate talent in our industry, elevate stronger research-to-practice, elevate innovation, and elevate equity, diversity, and inclusion.
As of our public launch, over 100 donors have answered the call to invest in the future of our work. Join us in acknowledging and celebrating this community of campaign leaders.
