Funded in part through the generous support of the Chi Epsilon Educational Programming Endowment, this program is designed to help campus-based professionals enhance their skills in fostering a supportive community for LGBTQ+ students in fraternities and sororities. This session will address LGBTQ+ issues within fraternities and sororities, outline strategies for creating inclusive environments, and suggest ways to support LGBTQ+ members in fraternity and sorority life. As part of this session, participants will build knowledge and skills through expert insights, group discussions, and interactive activities.
This program is the first of three sessions in the Supporting LGBTQ+ Students in Fraternal Organizations program series. This program series is intended to be an institute-style experience such that the content builds on itself. Registered participants will receive access to the live webinar and on-demand recording for one year after the session.

The Trump administration’s immigration policy priorities and actions have already significantly impacted higher education institutions, students, and other campus members. These include increased immigration enforcement, detention of immigrant and international students and other noncitizens, visa revocations, SEVIS student record terminations, visa interview pauses, threats of SEVIS decertification, registration requirements for noncitizens, targeting of in-state tuition for Dreamers, suspension of refugee admissions, termination of humanitarian parole and temporary protected statuses, and most recently a travel ban. Executive orders and agency actions have upended students’ lives, generated fear, anxiety, and uncertainty among immigrant-origin and international students, faculty, and staff, and caused havoc for campus offices.
Speakers will lay out what campus staff need to know, how to navigate rapidly evolving immigration policies, ways to engage, and where to find resources, including practical checklists and explainers. We will cover the key topics that impact noncitizen populations on campus, including those living and working in residence halls and campus-owned housing, with a particular focus on immigration enforcement on campus and the array of recent developments. There will be time for Q&A and discussion.
This webinar is being offered in partnership by ACUHO-I & The Presidents’ Alliance.

The Interdisciplinary Institute for Hazing Prevention (IIHP) is an intensive, multi-day training experience that prepares up to 60 participants to use the principles of prevention to address hazing in their community or organization. The program is interdisciplinary, welcoming participants from various roles across higher education, inter/national organizations, public safety, academia, and more. Participants include campus and organization professionals, volunteers, and students.
The 2025 event is being held virtually through four sessions spanning two weeks. This format allows us to teach content in smaller portions and offer more coaching time with faculty while providing participants time to reflect, process, and apply lessons between sessions. Because you’ll be learning while doing, this is a chance to work with your team to rethink your hazing prevention work and develop plans for the fall.
