    AFA has several communities within our membership. 

    Regions
    • Upon populating your profile information in FSCentral and purchasing your AFA membership, you will be added to your region’s membership list to receive regional newsletters and updates.
    • AFA’s regions are:
      • Region I: Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Nova Scotia, Pennsylvania, Quebec, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia, and the United Kingdom
      • Region II: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia
      • Region III: Illinois, Indiana, Manitoba, Michigan, Ohio, and Ontario
      • Region IV: Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, and Wisconsin

    AFA is proud to support five (5) Community Collectives for members centered on salient social and professional identities in our field:

    • Doctoral Students Community Collective
    • Latinx/a/o Professionals Community Collective
    • Professionals across the Black Diaspora Community Collective
    • Solo Professional Operations Community Collective
    • Women Working with Men’s Fraternities Community Collective
